I am a writer living in Bolton, Massachusetts. Debby and I have been married for 35 years, and we have three wonderful adult children and a growing number of grandchildren! We are followers of Jesus Christ and try in all ways to center our lives in his life.

Debby’s cancer battle: In August 2012, Debby was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. As Debby was already a cancer survivor from 2002, that came as very unwelcome news. We immediately emailed our friends and family to ask them to pray for us, and then sent email updates every couple weeks. People shared these emails with their friends, and we began to get requests from lots of folks to be on our list. I decided to put all the emails — and some additional reflections — in a collection here on this site.

Just thinkin’: Here I am going to just post my ideas. You know… like a blog.

Just for kids: I have been meaning to write for children for the past 30 years. According to my good friends, the time has come to start. As I write this page, I have one story posted so far. Let’s see when the next one appears! And then the next!
